Terms and Conditions

1. Course Booking and Payment

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be deducted from the total course cost and is non-refundable under any circumstances once paid. This policy is in place because the deposit is used to secure your place and reserve the instructor’s time for the course. Full payment must be made prior to the start of the course.

 2. Cooling-Off Period

Refund Eligibility: You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of booking during which you may request a refund of any payments made, except for the non-refundable deposit. The cooling-off period only applies if your course start date is outside this 14-day period.

Course Start within Cooling-Off Period: If you book a course to start within the 14-day cooling-off period, you waive your right to a refund for both the deposit and any additional payments. Once the course has started, no refunds will be issued for the course fees, and the deposit remains non-refundable.

Test Fees: If you cancel the course within the 14-day cooling-off period and before the course begins, you may receive a refund for any government test fees (theory or practical) if these tests have not been taken. Once the course has started or the 14-day period has passed, only unused government test fees are refundable.

 3. Lesson Scheduling

Availability: Lessons are typically scheduled between Monday to Friday, and the exact timings will be agreed upon between you and your instructor. Availability may be subject to the instructor’s schedule.

Cancellations: You must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Failure to do so may result in being charged for the lesson.

 4. Driving Test Booking

Test Arrangement: We will arrange your driving test date, but please note that availability depends on the DVSA. In case of any changes or cancellations by the DVSA, we will do our best to reschedule your test as soon as possible, but we cannot be held responsible for delays.

Test Readiness: The instructor will determine if you are ready for the driving test. If they feel you are not ready, they reserve the right to withhold the use of the vehicle for the test.

 5. Student Responsibilities

Provisional License: You must hold a valid provisional driving license to commence lessons.

Health and Safety: You must ensure you are fit to drive. If you are found to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance that could impair your ability to drive, the instructor reserves the right to terminate the lesson, and fees for that lesson will be forfeited.

Damage to Vehicle: Any damage caused to the vehicle due to negligence will be your responsibility, and you may be required to cover the repair costs.

 6. Instructor’s Rights

Course Termination: The instructor reserves the right to terminate the course if you fail to meet the agreed payment schedule, if you are repeatedly late, or if you do not adhere to the course rules.

Vehicle Use: The instructor’s decision on the use of the vehicle for the practical test is final. If the vehicle is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we will arrange an alternative test date at no additional cost to you.

 7. Liability

Limitations: We are not liable for any losses or damages that occur as a result of using our services, except where required by law. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of earnings, missed opportunities, or delays in obtaining a driving license.

Personal Belongings: We are not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal belongings left in the instructor’s vehicle.

 8. Complaints and Disputes

Resolution: Any disputes will be handled promptly, and we will work with both parties to reach a satisfactory resolution.

 9. Assessment Lesson

Before starting our intensive driving course, we require all learners to complete a mandatory assessment lesson. This 2-hour session is designed to ensure that both you and your instructor have a clear understanding of your current driving abilities and needs.

During the assessment, you will meet your instructor, practice essential driving skills, and receive personalised feedback. This session allows us to tailor the intensive course duration specifically to your skill level, ensuring you get the most out of your lessons. Our goal is to create a customised learning experience that prepares you effectively for the road ahead.

The assessment lesson is a crucial first step in your driving journey, setting the foundation for a successful and efficient learning process. By understanding your needs from the outset, we can provide a course that fits your goals and ensures you’re well-prepared for your driving test.

10. Mock Test

If the appropriate test standard is not reached, your instructor may choose not to accompany you to the driving test. This decision is based on the results of a mock test or during regular driving lessons. To meet the test standard, you must avoid committing any serious or dangerous faults. The safety of both the pupil and other road users is our priority, and we strive to ensure that all pupils are adequately prepared before attempting the driving test.

11. Changes to Terms

Updates: We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. You will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services will signify your acceptance of the updated terms.
